Sometimes our day gets complicated. Simplify with the minimalist Tri-Flower Doodleboard. This conservative standup makes an excellent whiteboard for notes, reminders, and affirmations for the day. Simply use a Sharpie or dry erase marker and add your personal touch. Colour the flowers differently, or keep them all the same!

Measuring approximately 5×6″, this glass decor is a perfect size to bring a little freshness to your space. Whether you add to your office, or brighten up your home, this piece of art is a sweet addition to any space.

Display your fused glass art in your choice of wooden block display or clear acrylic easel. Either of the display options allow light to travel through the glass, for a warm and simplistic art display!

How’s It Made?

Handcrafted from art glass, we create the Tri-Flower Doodleboard using multiple steps. First, we cut and polish the glass to the appropriate size.  Because of the low temperature firing, we buff the edges to round and polish them. 

We create the design for the screen we want to use. After coating and drying the screen with light sensitive emulsion, we then expose the emulsion using our designs and rinse out the unexposed emulsion. This creates the screen stencil we use to print with. Using fusible glass enamel as paint, we pull the enamel over the screen which allows the enamels to pass through the open designs on the screen and contact the glass. 

Once we have examined each print for quality and have touched up any defects, we place the glass into the kiln. We fire the panels at a low temperature to ensure the enamels are sintered into the surface of the glass. 

Because the firing process cures the enamels, making them permanent on the glass, you won’t ever have to worry about the colour fading or washing off. During the firing, the glass is annealed. Because of this, the strength and durability of the glass is increased, so you know it will last for as long as you own your Tri-Flower Doodleboard glass art.
