Measuring approximately 1-1/2″ in height, The Kraken Pendant will bring the mystery of the ocean to any outfit, any day!

Each pendant is individually handcrafted in fused glass; this ensures no two pendants are alike. Kiln-fired and annealed, this perfectly shaped necklace makes a touchable talisman. The unique colours in this summer necklace are comprised of the glass itself. As a result, the colour will stay true for as long as you own the jewelry.

The Kraken Pendant pairs perfectly with your favourite summer sundress to bring the power and unknown to your wardrobe.

This fused glass summer necklace comes standard with a black satin weave rayon cord. This means it is great for friends with allergies to metal chains.  The cord is approximately 24” long, with adjustable knots that slide.  This allows you to just slip the necklace over your head.  Wear at full length with a high necked blouse, or adjust to a shorter length depending on the neckline of your shirt.  It will adjust as small as a choker style.

How’s it made?

We create The Kraken Pendant using multiple steps. First, we design and create a silk screen stencil. Next, we cut and polish the glass to the correct size. Then, the cabochon is fired to a contour temperature, ensuring the shape of the pendant is not lost.

After the pendant cools, we screen print the design onto the surface of the glass using the prepared screen and enamels. Then, we return the pendant to the kiln to sinter the enamels into the surface of the glass. During the firing process, the glass is annealed. This means the internal stresses within the glass are relieved, giving strength and durability to the jewelry.

Finally, when the pendant has cooled a second time, we drill the cabochon for the wire bail, then tie the cord to finish the jewelry.
