Description

The playful design of the Tanglelight Lantern is vibrant and whimsical. It will add a festive cheer to your holiday decor. This way, you can add a little extra spirit to your home this year. Measuring 6×6″ and 11″ tall, this lantern is a delightful size to add as an unusual centrepiece on your dining or coffee table. Alternatively, it looks great on an end table or cabinet and is perfect for smaller spaces. In addition, the lantern is also safe for outdoor use. As such, you can display your lantern on the front step as well.

The panels have continuous wrap-around design, with the Tanglelight string flowing seamlessly from one panel into another. In other words, no matter which side of the lantern you choose to show, your lights will show an uninterrupted design. The panels are hand crafted and installed into a quality metal lantern, ensuring you will receive a safe and durable lantern. Additionally, the lantern has a hinged door with a magnetic latch. As such, you can easily place your pillar candle or flickering LED light to light up your bulbs. (Candle not included.)

How’s It Made?

Handcrafted from art glass, we create the Tanglelight Lantern using multiple steps. First, we cut and polish the clear glass to the appropriate size. Then, we paint the green light string with enamels and inspect for quality. Next, coloured glass frits are added inside each painted bulb. This adds colour and texture to the design. Because the colour is the glass itself, you won’t ever have to worry about the colour fading or washing off. Finally, we kiln-fire the glass panels to a low temperature to ensure the texture will reflect light off the curved surfaces. During the firing, the glass is annealed. Because of this, the strength and durability of the glass is increased, so you know it will easily withstand regular use.
