The Strawberry Margarita Earrings are available in two lengths; extra long 2″ drop earrings for a long pop of colour, or a slightly more conservative 1″ drop earring. What a great way to surprise your bestie with a summer treat!

Exclusive Strawberry Margarita Recipe

  • 10 oz frozen strawberries
  • Ice
  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 oz strawberry puree
  • lime wedge and coarse salt or sugar for rim
  • Fresh strawberries and basil leaves for garnish

Make the strawberry puree using a blender. Strain to remove seeds and foam.

Rim the glasses using a lime around the edge, then dip into salt or sugar on a plate. Fill the glass with ice.

Place tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup, and 2 oz strawberry puree into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into the prepared glass.

Garnish with lime wedge, fresh strawberry, and basil. Sip and enjoy!

How it’s Made:

The Strawberry Margarita Earrings are made using a series of steps. First, we cut strips of glass, using glass frits on one edge to mimic a salted margarita rim. Next, we fire the glass to a low temperature to fuse the frits into the surface of the sheet glass.

Once the glass cools, we cut the sheet into small 1/4″ strips for earrings. Then, we return the glass to the kiln for a second low temperature, just high enough to round the edges without losing the salty texture.

During the kiln firing, we anneal the glass which relieves internal stress within the glass. This creates a stronger and more durable piece of glass. In other words, you can confidently wear your Strawberry Margarita Earrings every day, not just for special occasions. 

Once cooled, we drill each earring by hand using a diamond drill bit. Then, using a wire bail, we attach a surgical stainless steel ear wire. This hypoallergenic ear wire minimizes any reactions from metal allergies, giving you comfortable, all-day wear!

The colour in these summer earrings is the glass itself, therefore will never fade or wash off. You can enjoy the vibrant colours for as long as you own the jewelry.
