A forever springtime favourite, Pussy Willows are a messenger of spring! You can display your Pussy Willow Lantern for as long as you choose! The playful design of the branches and catkins is sweet and whimsical. It will certainly add a warm feeling for your spring decor. 

Measuring 6×6″ and 11″ tall, this lantern is a delightful size to add as a sweet Easter centrepiece on your dining or coffee table. Alternatively, it looks great on an end table or cabinet and is perfect for smaller spaces. In addition, the lantern is also safe for outdoor use.  A perfect addition to your spring patio decor, or a warm welcome to your springtime guests.

The panels each have a unique hand painted design, with each panel showing a slightly different arrangement. In other words, each side of the Pussy Willow Lantern is intended to be viewed . The panels are hand crafted and installed into a quality metal lantern, ensuring you will receive a safe and durable lantern. Additionally, the lantern has a hinged door with a magnetic latch. As such, you can easily place your pillar candle or flickering LED light to light up your spring scene. (Candle available separately here.)

How’s It Made?

Handcrafted from art glass, we create the Pussy Willow Lantern using multiple steps. First, we cut and polish the lavender glass to the appropriate size. Then, we paint the dark branches with enamels and inspect for quality. Next, translucent white glass frits are added individually along the length of the branch. This adds the fun texture to the design. Because the colour is the glass itself, you won’t ever have to worry about the colour fading or washing off. Finally, we kiln-fire the glass panels to a low temperature to ensure the texture will reflect light off the curved surfaces. During the firing, the glass is annealed. Because of this, the strength and durability of the glass is increased, so you know it will easily withstand regular use.
