The Poppy Sun Catcher uses bright red fused glass in the colour of the poppy. Next, it melts into the clear glass during the kiln-firing process. Therefore, you don’t ever have to worry about the colour fading or washing off. Additionally, during the firing, the glass is annealed for strength and durability. That is to say you can trust the fused glass will last for many years to come, and is also safe to mail to friends, family, and loved ones.

The centre of the poppy ornament has a textured “seed” design. Black glass frits melt into the glass creating a touchable surface. The red glass of the poppy glows brightly alongside the black poppy centre.
