The bright red ruffled petals of the Poppy Puddler contrast wildly with the earth, leaves, and flowers of your garden. Handmade beads in a shiny black glass create a raised texture on the surface of the bowl. As such, the texture makes for safe footholds for bees and butterflies to stand on while they drink from the bee waterer.

Measuring approximately 8″ in diameter, and with a 1″ depth, the design of the Poppy Puddler is thoughtfully crafted to prevent overfilling. Furthermore, the glass islands peek through the surface of the water, to keep insects safe while they visit.

The hand shaped petals of this bee waterer are kiln-fired, then annealed; therefore add strength and durability to your garden art.  (Warning: hail may still damage your bee waterer. I recommend moving your glass art indoors or somewhere safe during hail storms and other wild and terrifying weather!)

*Note: Fill only with water; never use sugar water for bees. Clean regularly with a soft bristle brush, and replace with fresh water daily. Deep clean by sprinkling baking soda over the glass beads and adding vinegar.  Rinse thoroughly with water.
