A unique hand drawn web, cut into glass, the Orb-Weaver Spiderweb Window Panel is the finest handcrafted stained glass. Each piece is individually cut from a larger sheet of glass, with the texture placed with intention. This ensures the pattern flows correctly.
With a minimalist design, the focus sways from the dark solder lines of the web, to the clear glass reflecting the world outside from many angles at once. Black patina is applied to the solder, and then a coat of protective wax. Consequently, this ensures the glass is polished to a glossy shine, and the solder will be protected from the elements in the air.

A length of chain attaches to the rings the panel, intended to allow for hanging from hooks above the window frame, or screwed into the casings or window jamb. As such, it will easily hold weight of the panel, compared to the risk of having a suction cup fail.

“You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing. I wove my webs for you because I liked you. After all, what’s a life, anyway? We’re born, we live a little while, we die. A spider’s life can’t help being something of a mess, with all this trapping and eating flies. By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone’s life can stand a little of that.”
