Joyous autumn colours scatter the panels of the October Birch Lantern. Unique handcrafted design of the birch scene, coordinating with semi-opaque sheet glass with vibrant autumn coloured glass flakes. We cut the birch trees and arrange them on clear glass, then add the individual striations carefully by hand for a natural appearance. Next we sprinkle autumn coloured glass frits for a realistic scene.

Finally, the panes of the October Birch Lantern are kiln fired. This ensures the perfect amount of texture while the annealing process strengthens the glass for durability. You can be sure to enjoy your lantern decor for many years to come. Also, the colours in the lantern panels are the glass itself. As such, you don’t ever have to worry about the colour fading or washing off.

Measuring approximately 6″ x 6″ by 11″ in height, the October Birch Lantern is a perfect size to enjoy for indoor home decor. For example, you can display the lantern as a tabletop centrepiece. With each side a unique detailed design, the sides are meant to be viewed from any angle.
