The holiday season is about being a little silly, a little festive, and having some fun. These Naughty or Nice earrings will be the hit of the party! 

Our fused glass earrings are lightweight, which means they are perfect to wear all day long. The ear wire is a surgical stainless steel, so it won’t irritate sensitive ears. Plus, with rubber stoppers, you won’t ever have to worry about losing an earring.

Measuring approximately 1-1/4” in length, or 1-3/4″ including the ear wire, these vibrant earrings are the perfect size to show the sparkling text on a pop of colourful glass.

How it’s Made:

We created our Naughty or Nice Earrings using multiple steps. First, we create the text design and expose a silk screen. Then, we cut the glass to the correct size. We kiln-fire the earrings first, to round the edges of the glass. Once they’ve cooled, we use glass enamels to print the text design onto the glass. While the enamel is still wet, we add a mica powder carefully to the surface. The mica sticks to the enamel for a thick layer of sparkle. After the enamel dries, we dust off the excess mica powder to use later.

Next, we return the earrings to the kiln for a low temperature firing to sinter the enamels and mica into the glass. This makes the design permanent, while strengthening the glass so you can enjoy your Naughty or Nice Earrings all season long.

All of our earrings are made using surgical stainless steel ear-wires and come with rubber backers so you don’t ever have to worry about them falling off.
