Description

The whimsical design of the Let It Snow Lantern is calm and serene. It will add a festive flair to your winter decor. This way, you can bring a little winter indoors without the chill. Measuring 6×6″ and 11″ tall, this lantern is a delightful size to add as a unique centrepiece on your dining or coffee table. Alternatively, it looks great on an end table or cabinet and is perfect for smaller spaces. In addition, the lantern is also safe for outdoor use. As such, you can display your lantern on the front porch as well.

The panels each have their own unique snowflake design, with the designs each with a different focus colour. In other words, no matter which side of the lantern is your favourite, your snowflakes will be viewed from all 360 degrees. The panels are hand crafted and installed into a quality metal lantern, ensuring you will receive a safe and durable lantern. Additionally, the lantern has a hinged door with a magnetic latch. As such, you can easily place your pillar candle or flickering LED light to light up your home. (Candle not included.)

How’s It Made?

Handcrafted from art glass, we create the Let It Snow Lantern using multiple steps. First, we cut and polish the clear glass to the appropriate size. Then, we add powdered glass for the snowflakes. Next, coloured glass frits are added for tiny textured snowballs. Because the colour is the glass itself, you won’t ever have to worry about the colour fading, or the design peeling or washing off. Finally, we kiln-fire the glass panels to a low temperature to ensure the delicate texture of the snowflakes. During the firing, the glass is annealed. Because of this, the strength and durability of the glass is increased, so you know it will easily withstand regular use.
