Measuring approximately 5×6″, this glass decor is a perfect size to bring a breath of colour to your space. Whether you add to your office, or brighten up your mantle, this piece of art is a vibrant addition to any space.

Display your Holly Standup fused glass art in your choice of wooden block display or clear acrylic easel. Either of the display options allow light to travel through the glass, for a sparkling and glowing display!

How’s It Made?

Handcrafted from art glass, we create the Holly Standup using multiple steps. First, we create a three-layer template and expose into a silk screen. Next, we cut and polish the glass to the appropriate size. Using glass enamels, we first print the red and green colour layers onto the glass. Last, we top the colours with the black detail layer, allowing each layer to dry between prints. After inspecting the print for flaws, we place the glass into the kiln.

We kiln fire the glass to a low temperature to sinter the enamels into the surface of the glass. This makes the enamels permanent, so you won’t ever have to worry about the colour fading or washing off. During the firing, the glass is annealed. Because of this, the strength and durability of the glass is increased, so you know your Holly Standup will last for as long as you own the glass art.
