Whether you’re looking for a splash of colour to add to your office space, or something to brighten a shelf or window in your home, this fused glass artwork is a unique addition.

Moderately sized in design, this glass can be displayed with either a low profile acrylic stand or a pair of miniature wooden easels. Either style of display will show off your glass art for an easy conversation starter.

The colour in the Shoreline Fritbox is the glass itself. We first build a shallow tray (or box) out of sheet glass, then fill with coloured glass frits for the design. Because the glass frits themselves are coloured, the design is permanent and you never have to worry about the colour or the design fading or washing off.

While the fritbox is firing, the individual grains of frit melt together, forming the artwork. During the kiln firing, we anneal the glass for durability. In other words, this artwork is strong and beautiful.

The overall length of the Shoreline Fritbox itself is approximately 13-1/2 by 3-1/4″ tall. The miniature easels are approximately 4-1/2″ tall.
