How’s It Made?

Handcrafted from art glass, we create the Framless Yellow Daffodil Panel using multiple steps. First, we cut and polish the clear glass to the appropriate size. Then, we cut the petals and leaves from sheet glass and shape them to fit. Once arranged, we top with the trumpet in the flower centres. Next, we kiln fire the pieces to melt the design elements into the glass. The colour is the glass itself, you won’t ever have to worry about the colour fading or washing off. During the firings, the glass is annealed. Because of this, the strength and durability of the glass is increased, so you know it will easily withstand regular use.
