Lightweight in design, these fused glass earrings are comfortable enough for all-day wear. The colours in the Dandelion Earrings are the glass itself. The design is hand painted using glass enamels, and kiln fired into the surface of the glass. Because the colour is the glass itself, you never have to worry about the colour fading or washing off.

How it’s made:

The glass bead for each earring is first cut to size from a large piece of glass, then each earring is hand painted with the dandelion motif. Next, the pieces are kiln fired to round the glass and sinter the enamels into the surface. During the firing process, the earrings are annealed for durability. Because of this, these earrings are strong enough for daily wear. The overall length from top of ear wire to bottom of the glass is approximately 1-1/2″.

The metal ear wires in these easy breezy earrings are a surgical stainless steel, helping to minimize uncomfortable allergic reactions to metals. The earrings also come with rubber stoppers so you never have to worry about losing an earring!
