How’s It Made?

Handcrafted from art glass, we create the Daisy Delight Standup using multiple steps. First, we cut and polish the clear glass to the appropriate size. Then, we hand paint the stems and leaves using a bright green enamel. After this, we cut the bright white petals from sheet glass and shape them individually to size. Once arranged, we add yellow glass frits for the textured centre. Next, we kiln fire the pieces to melt the design elements into the glass. The colour is the glass itself, you won’t ever have to worry about the colour fading or washing off. During the firings, the glass is annealed. Because of this, the strength and durability of the glass is increased, so you know it will easily withstand regular use.
