The beauty of a Celtic Knot rests amongst the repeating twists and maze of woven lines, with no beginning and no end. The Celtic Double Square Knot Pendant will have you tracing the path over and over; an entanglement of family, friends, and love in your journey of life!

Lightweight in design, this fused glass pendant is a joy to wear, at any length you choose. The colours in this Celtic Knot jewelry are the glass itself. The design is screen printed using glass enamels, and kiln fired into the surface of the glass. Because the colour is the glass itself, you never have to worry about the colour fading or washing off.

How it’s made:

The Celtic Double Square Knot Pendant is created using multiple steps. First, we create the Celtic knot design and expose into a silk screen. Next, we cut two layers of sheet glass to the appropriate size for the pendants. First we fire the pendants blank to fully fuse the layers and round the edges.

Once the glass cools, we hand print the design using glass enamels. After allowing the enamel to dry, we inspect for quality and touch up any defects. Then the pendant is returned to the kiln for a low temperature firing to sinter the enamel into the surface of the glass, making it permanent.

During the firing process, the pendant is annealed for durability. Because of this, the pendant is strong enough for daily wear.

We drill the pendant to allow for the wire jewelry bail, and string the black satin weave rayon cording. We tie the cord using a double sliding knot, which allows the pendant length to be adjusted from approximately 25″ long, to as short as a choker style necklace.
